Nutraceutical Leader Modernizes with BatchMaster ERP Integrated with QuickBooks
Cunsa International is a rapidly growing, leading private label nutraceutical company serving pharmacy chains, supermarkets, distributors, and specialty stores in Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. With over 14 years of experience in product development and brand incubation, the American company, founded by Chileans, is currently expanding into new operations and in-house manufacturing facilities through its new headquarters in Florida.
SELECTION
Cunsa selected BatchMaster ERP after evaluating various systems. This evaluation encompassed strict traceability, regulatory compliance, and quality control requirements, all of which are crucial in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.
Cunsa Anticipates Significant Improvements in Global Operations and Compliance
“Our business depends on traceability, from raw material sourcing to final shipment. If a batch has an issue, we need to know exactly what changed, why, and how to respond,” said Cáceres. He added that working in markets like Asia and Central America, where climate and regulations affect product stability, requires robust quality and compliance systems.
Cunsa also expects BatchMaster to be a key support in material waste management, certificates of analysis, and destruction permits—crucial processes when handling high-cost or sensitive ingredients, which are very common in supplement production. “We work with raw materials that can cost more than USD 500 per kilo. Mistakes are not allowed,” Cáceres emphasized. BatchMaster allows Cunsa to track every gram.
The integration with QuickBooks will streamline financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while replacing a legacy inventory system with one designed specifically for nutraceuticals. Cunsa expects this to reduce bottlenecks in customer service and production planning.
