Dear Valued BatchMaster Customers,

What a year this has been! I am sure we all are looking forward to bid 2020 goodbye in the hopes of a better year and returning to some form of normalcy. As most of us reflect back on the year as it nears its end and think about milestones we celebrated, difficulties we overcame, and losses we mourned, I can see that we are resilient and that we all adapted to the new circumstances and discovered ways to stay connected, work, juggle family and put our best foot forward. We supported each other, showed empathy, and found little things to be grateful for in the worst of circumstances.

At BatchMaster Software, we continue to support and serve our customers remotely. I am very pleased to announce that we have continued to grow our customer base despite the uncertainties brought about by the pandemic, and this was made possible by the sheer dedication of our employees and willingness of our customers and partners to align their expectations and collaborate remotely. We continue to serve our customers, help enhance their knowledge through product webinars, and support them through our Support Portal, email, phone, virtual training and troubleshooting sessions, when needed.

I’ve been inspired by the dedication, selflessness, and resilience seen across not only our business, but with our customers’ businesses over these last several months and I am grateful to all our employees and customer base. We all have worked hard and stayed motivated. I have witnessed the stellar jobs of our team going out of its way to support and service our customers with many remote go-lives, upgrades, technical support and consulting services.

I am also thankful to each one of you for your business and for continuing your faith in us during these unprecedented times. And I want to let you know that we are committed to providing high-quality services and that we are always with you. I certainly look forward to 2021!

In the meantime, please do continue to take the recommended precautions (wear a mask, follow social distancing and wash your hands often) to stay healthy and to keep your business running in an optimum, efficient way.

Support Portal Updates

Customer Service Group – Will Utilize Support Portal in 2021

We are pleased to announce that in January 2021, add-on consulting service activities (such as SOWs for Upgrades, Customizations, new or modified Reports, etc…) which are typically managed by our Customer Service Group (CSG), will be available in our ticket system for authorized users in the Support Portal to access. Once launched, users will have the same level of visibility to discussions, status, and other information available today for Support Tickets. To accommodate users that have such service projects in progress, and who are not currently a Designated Support Contact, we will be adding a new user type called “Service Request Contact” (SRC). If you have an open SOW with us at launch time, watch for an email describing what to expect and how to access what will be called SRs for Service Requests.

Our Survey has Changed!

Have you noticed we have changed the survey you receive from BatchMaster Support when a support ticket is closed? We now ask:

  • How would you rate your overall experience with support for this ticket?
  • How would you rate your satisfaction for the resolution provided by the agent?
  • How would you rate the knowledge of the support agent?
  • How would you rate the professionalism of the support agent?
  • How easy it was to get in touch with customer support?

There is also a survey comments box where you can share other information or explanations you think will help us reinforce what we do well and address areas that can be improved. We appreciate any and all your feedback!

Support Portal FAQ

Q. What’s the difference between the Customer Portal and Support Portal?

A. Customer Portal, AKA BatchMaster Portal (portal.batchmaster.com), is still the primary source of BatchMaster Lunch & Learn Videos, product documentation, knowledge articles, training materials, and other resources for our customers and partners to access anytime with their login. The Support Portal (support.batchmaster.com) offers additional self-service features related to product technical support; such as support ticket entry, visibility, and management features.

Q. I can’t log into the Support Portal. How do I get access?

A. Though anyone can view the current portal and support process articles in the Support Portal Knowledge Solutions area, only your company’s Designated Support Contacts (DSCs) can access the ticket area. DSC access is created by the BatchMaster Support Team. For more information, check out our Designated Support Contact FAQs.

Despite the pandemic, our implementation project teams and customers worked diligently together to maintain progress on their projects. Florida Extracts
Florida Extracts is a commercial-scale hemp processor in Tavares, Florida. They provide commercial-scale hemp drying and processing services to farmers and offers high quality hemp extracts for manufacturing of hemp-derived products. In light of the high demand for their products, the company took advantage of our BatchMaster Express implementation to get the quickest time to value payback.
U.S. Paint
U.S. Paint is in St. Louis, MO and has delivered high performance paints, primers, and clearcoats to manufacturers and applicators in the automotive, power sports and general industrial markets worldwide since 1931. After using a legacy software for over 20 years, President John Duchardt was looking for an ERP solution that could support their existing customized functionality right ‘out of the box’. “At the end, we decided to partner with BatchMaster Software who offered us an ‘off the shelf’ product; one that is formula centric, could easily meet our unique requirements, and position U.S. Paint for continued growth”, he stated.
