Dear Valued BatchMaster Customers,

I hope you and your families are doing well, staying safe, and taking all the recommended precautions to stay healthy and keep your business running in an optimum, efficient way.

Looking back at the past 6 months I see how we, as a global community, have come from chaos and fear to acceptance and hope. It is a reminder that we are a resilient, innovative species, and that with the help of science, technology, and common sense, we can overcome most hurdles and obstacles that threaten us.

On the business side of things, at BatchMaster Software, we have embraced a new way of doing business by adjusting and enhancing our abilities to serve all our customers remotely.  I am proud to announce that we have several customers who went live between Q2 and Q3 and are running their operations in a more streamlined way.

We continue to serve our customers, enhance their knowledge through product webinars, and support them through email, phone and virtual training and troubleshooting sessions, when needed. Our new online Support Portal is a support tool which offers our customers full visibility and access to their support ticket status. It was deployed in Q2 and has been a huge success, providing our customers the ability to create, view, update tickets on their own, 24×7.  There is more to come as we continue to roll out additional capabilities within the system, including new knowledge articles, so stay tuned for additional announcements regarding the Support Portal.

We continue to enhance our solutions and expand our offerings.  We are very excited to announce our relationship with Siemens to provide their Opcenter APS (formerly known as Preactor APS).  BSI formed a partnership allowing us to offer Opcenter APS as an Advanced Planning and Scheduling solution specifically developed to meet this need, using advanced algorithms that balance demand and capacity to generate achievable production schedules. I encourage you to request information on Opcenter from your Account Manager. We also have many other product innovations of which you will be hearing more about.

Support Portal Update

It’s been nearly 3 months since we launched our new Support Portal and support ticket system. Since then customers’ Designated Support Contacts have been creating, viewing, updating, and exporting tickets on their own 24×7. We have also received valuable feedback to help us with our continual improvement efforts. For example, based on customer recommendations, we added the ability to include other contacts at the time a ticket is created. We have other enhancements rolling out by year end, including new knowledge articles, a ticket escalation process, and more, so watch for those announcements!

Q. What’s the difference between the Customer Portal and Support Portal?

A. Customer Portal, AKA BatchMaster Portal (portal.batchmaster.com), is still the primary source of BatchMaster Lunch & Learn Videos, product documentation, knowledge articles, training materials, and other resources for our customers and partners to access anytime with their login. The Support Portal (support.batchmaster.com) offers additional self-service features related to product technical support; such as support ticket entry, visibility, and management features.

Q. I can’t log into the Support Portal. How do I get access?

A. Though anyone can view the current portal and support process articles in the Support Portal Knowledge Solutions area, only your company’s Designated Support Contacts (DSCs) can access the ticket area. DSC access is created by the BatchMaster Support Team. For more information, check out our Designated Support Contact FAQs.

Congratulations to Lynne Foods, Custom Foods of America, and Nu Life Global who were among our Go-Lives in Q3, remotely, as we continue to social distance. Nu Life Global, a startup venture that focuses on hemp cultivation and extraction, and the production and sale of a variety of CBD infused Health and Wellness products specifically stated, “Your team was excellent from the start…” from sales and through the implementation.  It was also stated that, “The support we’ve gotten from the Team has been exceptional, they have always been ready to assist and offer solutions…”  We thank Anita Gevorkian for such nice remarks.

Bio-Botanica® specializes in botanicals and over the last 45 years has grown to be a leading global manufacturer and supplier of over 500 botanical extracts used in the personal care & cosmetic, food & beverage, flavor & fragrance, and supplement and nutraceutical industries. Bio-Botanica® recently purchased BatchMaster Software’s end to end ERP solution, BatchMaster ERP, to streamline and scale up the development and production of their custom products, as well as grow its own line of consumer products sold through retailers under the Nature’s Answer, Holistic Balance, Gencuetic, and Woodstock brands.
Staq Pharma
STAQ Pharma is a brand new 503B outsourcing facility involved in compounding sterile injectable medications, producing up to 30,000 syringes per day. STAQ Pharma’s Controller selected BatchMaster because the control of inventory movements and costs is critical. He explained, “The FDA requires our industry to be able to document, qualify, verify, and trace all transactions and products. BM has the ability to be FDA validated, which for a cGMP plant like ours is critical. BatchMaster is an industry standard, it’s easy to use, visibility to data is great, and the reporting capabilities are extensive.”
