I hope you and your families are doing well, staying safe, and taking all the recommended precautions to stay healthy and keep your business running in an optimum, efficient way.
Looking back at the past 6 months I see how we, as a global community, have come from chaos and fear to acceptance and hope. It is a reminder that we are a resilient, innovative species, and that with the help of science, technology, and common sense, we can overcome most hurdles and obstacles that threaten us.
On the business side of things, at BatchMaster Software, we have embraced a new way of doing business by adjusting and enhancing our abilities to serve all our customers remotely. I am proud to announce that we have several customers who went live between Q2 and Q3 and are running their operations in a more streamlined way.
We continue to serve our customers, enhance their knowledge through product webinars, and support them through email, phone and virtual training and troubleshooting sessions, when needed. Our new online Support Portal is a support tool which offers our customers full visibility and access to their support ticket status. It was deployed in Q2 and has been a huge success, providing our customers the ability to create, view, update tickets on their own, 24×7. There is more to come as we continue to roll out additional capabilities within the system, including new knowledge articles, so stay tuned for additional announcements regarding the Support Portal.
We continue to enhance our solutions and expand our offerings. We are very excited to announce our relationship with Siemens to provide their Opcenter APS (formerly known as Preactor APS). BSI formed a partnership allowing us to offer Opcenter APS as an Advanced Planning and Scheduling solution specifically developed to meet this need, using advanced algorithms that balance demand and capacity to generate achievable production schedules. I encourage you to request information on Opcenter from your Account Manager. We also have many other product innovations of which you will be hearing more about.
