System Requirements

There are two ways of configuring your IT systems to operate BatchMaster Software, and both are covered in the documents below:

• Thin-Client: A Terminal Services environment where all workstations are connected to one or more Application Servers. Upgrading your software occurs once only at the Application Server, remote support is easier,and all Users consistently operate in an identical environment.
• Local Network, sometimes called ‘fat-client’. Here, workstations connect directly to the SQL server and have a software client loaded on their actual workstation.
